Sometimes, Putting one Foot in Front of the Other is the Hardest Part
Whether you are 18 or 80, you can be faced with a moment when you need to re-invent yourself like Danita did. Our childhood experience, environment and circumstances can have us erroneously believing that making a big change is too difficult, scary or we just don’t deserve it. So, what are the barriers to taking action towards the new you?
For me, the hardest part is the first step.
Ever get the feeling that you must jump into the frying pan with both feet. That’s a pretty scary feeling for me. Who wants to get burned? But, what if you put that first foot in and realize you are actually stepping onto a lush, soft field of green grass? Can you convince your body and mind into believing that is the true reality?
~I think you can~
I am the procrastination queen. Heck, I put off launching Smart Girl, Wise Woman for over a year after my good friend and I birthed the idea. Why? Because I was not seeing the green grass, I was only feeling the heat from that darned pan.
In Smart Girl, Wise Woman workshops we will work on re-directing your thinking towards the lushness. Acting on who you really are. Taking those leaps that seem too far to take. Reaching out to your support network to hold your hand as you take those first steps towards being ALL of you as a woman.
I’ll hold your hand. I promise!
What part of you is wanting to shine, and what is holding you back from taking that leap?
